According to the State of the Green Economy Report 2015, consumer behaviour can be pivotal in a green economy, stimulating the private sector to produce sustainable products and the public sector to set environmentally ethical standards and regulations for best practices.
The conference discussions will explore the requirements to effect a change in consumer behaviour so that more environmentally responsible choices are made.
Session 1: Presentation of 3-4 inspiring examples of entities that have proven successful results in enabling a green economy. This will be followed by a Q&A.
Session 2: Thought leadership discussion highlighting and analyzing the impacts of consumer behavior in the greening of the economy ideally suggesting ways forward to motivate and encourage the transition.
