MEED’s Dubai Clean Energy Forum 2014

MEED’s Dubai Clean Energy Forum 2014

MEED’s first Dubai Clean Energy Forum which is being organized in partnership with Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) and supported by the Supreme Council of Energy. The event is designed to be the definitive platform for all those seeking to participate in the emirate’s drive towards solar and clean energy adoption and will provide a roadmap on how Dubai will meet the requirements of the 2030 energy strategy (i.e. being a regional role model for the use of sustainable energy).

The event is organised in conjunction with the main stakeholders involved in clean and sustainable energy in Dubai and the UAE. The event comes at a time for Dubai as it opens its power sector to the private sector with 2 high-profile IPP Projects scheduled for late 2014 (100MW 2nd phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum Solar Park and the 1200 MW clean coal power plant project).
