Middle East Renewable Energy – Trade Mission

Egypt’s Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, in partnership with the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA) is organizing a Trade Mission that will take place in Cairo on February 11-12, 2015.

The objective of this Trade Mission is to facilitate negotiations between MESIA members and high-level government and private-sector officials about investing in Egypt’s renewable energy sector. MESIA is the largest and most respected solar association in the MENA region and represents 100 solar and renewable energy companies from around the word.


In order to enhance the experience for both investors and the government officials, this event is “by invitation only” and will focus on 50 pre-selected companies that have the technical and financial resources to carry out investments of at least $10 million in Egypt’s blossoming renewable energy sector. The objective is to secure a combined commitment of $1 billion in investments from the participating Trade Mission delegation.
