MESIA PRESIDENT TO STEP DOWN

Vahid Fotuhi is stepping down as president of the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA) after five years at the helm. The former BP man plans to shift his attention to his role as Head of Strategic Advisory at Access Power MEA, a company focused on the renewables sector in Africa. Fotuhi has overseen the steady growth of the association he founded in 2009 to its current membership of 120. “After 5 long years of dedication, I can proudly step aside and allow a new leadership team to take over and to bring MESIA to new heights,” he announced this week.
