The Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC) – (formerly ADWEA– has issued an expression of interest for the development and construction of a 2 GW solar project at Adhafra, 50 km east of Abu Dhabi. Interested developers have until March 5 to prequalify for the project. Read more here.
