
Grant Greatrex is the Senior Partner of MaC Group heading up the company’s renewable energy advisory division working with clients across the full value chain and with technology, industrial and IPP players, as well as with institutional investors.
Grant has over 25 years of experience in management consultancy with leading global firms. Over the past decade he has specialized in the areas of renewable energy, clean technology and carbon management in the Iberian, European, American and CDM countries. His clients range from venture capital, private equity and infrastructure funds to technology, equipment and service providers active in a range of renewables technologies and markets.
The main areas of his consulting work include Strategy and Organization, Merger & Acquisition, Project financing and Arbitration support/Expert Witness in litigations. He has held several senior management roles in multinational strategy and management consulting firms, including Arthur D. Little, as the Global Coordinator of the Renewable Energy Practice and Deloitte Consulting where he was the Managing Director of the Iberian practice, a member of the European Management Team and member of the Global Board.
Grant holds a Bsc in Economics (Honours) First Class from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Diplôme de Hautes Études Européens with Distinction from the Collège d’Europe in Bruges and is a Master of Business Administration (MBA), with Distinction, from the University of Warwick Business School. His native language is English and he is fluent in oral and written comprehension in Spanish, Portuguese and French.
