Seraphim and Barzaei Halwan Sign 250MW Framework Agreement at Intersolar Europe 2025

Munich, May 7, 2025 — On the opening day of Intersolar Europe 2025, Seraphimsigneda 250MW framework agreement with Iraqi renewable energy company Barzaei Halwan. The partnership will begin with an initial 50MW procurement in 2025, marking a strategicmilestone in Iraq’s renewable energy development.

As a key player in Iraq’s clean energy sector, Barzaei Halwan will leverage Seraphim’sglobal distribution channels and marketing expertise. In return, Seraphimwill providecomprehensive supply and support services spanning PV modules, inverters, and energystorage systems. This collaboration is designed to deepen both companies’ presenceinthe Middle East and support the region’s transition to sustainable energy.

Iraq has committed to generating 20% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030, though implementation has been gradual.
