Cornelius Matthes held a number of different roles within Deutsche Bank Group, where he was appointed board member in Italy.

In 2010, Cornelius joined Dii as Director Business Alliances. Among his duties, he was responsible for building Dii’s Shareholder and Associated Partner network.

In January 2014, he joined global IPP Building Energy as Managing Director MENA to set up and lead the new regional headquarters in Dubai. The company successfully qualified for a major PV project in Egypt and is shortlisted for round II in Jordan.

Cornelius studied Business Administration in Germany and Italy and wrote his master thesis in New York (USA). He is guest lecturer at several universities.
